George R Pickles  RIBA

George has been a Partner and Principal Architect at the company since 1988. He has a first Class honours degree from the University of Newcastle gained in 1969.


He has an extensive range of experience in a variety of sectors. He specialises in Master Planning, work with Listed buildings and English Heritage, particularly church work. George is the retained Architect for Brighouse and Halifax Parish Churches.


Neil Hardaker  MCIAT

Neil is a Partner in Pickles Architects with over 20 years’ experience. As a partner, Neil ensures strategic delivery of projects from inception to completion, and has particular experience in obtaining planning permissions for difficult schemes.


He has a broad range of experience in a variety of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Education and Leisure.


Neil has undertaken a variety of successful schemes over the years, his most recent being a £2.7million award winning Hindu Temple in Bradford.


Paul Lunn  ACIAT

Paul has been at the practice for nearly 10 years and is a core member of the team. He is hands-on and involved with most of the projects in the practice. As an associate member of the Charted Institute of Architectural Technologists he runs the majority of smaller projects from inception to completion and assisting with the larger ones.


His skills are in design, presentation and technical detailing he has useful experience in the design of modern eco friendly buildings as well disabled access solutions


Jason Tilney

Jason has First Class Honours Degrees from the Universities of London and Leeds. He is proactive and is involved with most aspects of the day-to-day operation of the practice. He has assisted the practice partners in managing some of the larger projects of recent years.


Jason's specialism is Interior Design and this allows the practice to offer a bespoke service for clients even on small projects.


Jason has lived and worked in London, Moscow and, most recently, Los Angeles, where, amongst other projects, he worked on a restaurant in the Fox Building.
